About Scott Mayberry

Scott Mayberry
Scott created his first bona fide piece at two years old when he drew Snoopy in pencil. He spent most of his childhood cooped up with reams of paper, drawing like nobody’s business, and as soon as possible he was taking every art class the system would allow.
To no one’s surprise, he went on to earn his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Art at Central Washington University, and an MFA at the University of Texas, Austin in studio painting.
Scott works in practically any medium you can hand to him, but his favorites are acrylic paint and pen and ink. He is a disciplined and prolific artist who consistently creates because if he doesn’t, he gets kind of weird.
He has shown his work nationally and is currently showing frequently in the Ellensburg, Washington area.
Scott lives with his wife, two children, two dogs and two cats in Ellensburg.
